Maxi arrived in Puerto Rico for lasting

Last year Puerto Rico organized the World Maxibasketball Championship with a huge success and after that, the Sports Department of the country organized the first Masters Festival in Carolina.
This event was held from August 28th to August 31st. The Maxi Federation has introduced an event where all these people were playing:
8 Male Teams and 4 Female Teams in Basketball.
8 Male Teams and 4 Female Teams in Volleyball.
The Maxi category is also playing different sports as softball, football, swimming, tennis, etc.
The Maxi Federation has created the Maxi Volley Federation where 8 male teams and 4 female teams are playing.
The first game has been dedicated to two “past glories”, to Carmen Melendez (ex player of the Puerto Rico National Team) and to Juan “Conejo” Rosas.
The “Giant Teams of Carolina” played this first game against the “Arecibo’s Captains”, who are the last champions.
The best scorers were Grimaldi Vidot with 23 points, José Millán with 18 points (from Arecibo) and Gary Williams with 20 points (from Carolina)
